Turn this..... into this!

Turn waste fibrous materials into many different packaging products

The processes for our systems are all the same and are very simple to operate. Each system has a pulper that pulps fibrous material with water which turns it into a slurry mixture that is used to produce product.

1. Fill the pulper with water to its predetermined volume.
2. Then add a set formula of paper, corrugated etc. (raw material)
3. Pulp the raw material and water for a required period of time to create a pulp slurry.
4. When your slurry is ready it is sent through a refining system
5. After the pulp slurry has completed the refining process it is transferred to the moulding vat.
6. Once in the vat the pulp slurry is sucked up on to the moulding die and this when your product begins to take shape. Within a short time a product has been produced and is ready to be transferred to a drying system. (Batch dryer, continuous dryer, air dried, etc.)
7. Once your product is dried it is ready for packaging.
8. Packaging: This process can be automatic or done manually.
9. Once your product has been packaged (bagged, banded, palletized, shrink wrapped, tied, etc.) the product is then warehoused until you are ready to ship it to your customer.

KMI moulding systems can be used to produce two types of Moulded pulp:

1:     Thick Wall
-     Dimensions 3/16”to ½’
-     Characteristics: the surface is usually very rough on one side and reasonably smooth on the other
-     Products: Edge and edge protectors, heavy product packaging, plant pots , greenhouse planting trays, auto replacement parts packaging, moulded pulp pallets, etc.

2:     Transfer Mould
-     Dimensions: 1/16’TO 3/16”
-     This process uses forming and transfer moulds which produce a smooth surface on one side and a fairly smooth surface on the other side.
-     Products: Electronic packaging, Egg Carton, Egg Trays, Fruit Trays, Berry Baskets, other fruit packaging, 4-cup carry out trays, wine shippers, disposable bed pans, urinal, slipper pan, Commode pan, kitty litter trays, one use floor mats, clam shell containers for food packaging, Utility trays, Chick feeder lids, Cosmetic Packaging, paper plates, Pharmaceutical packaging, etc.
